1. Agreement
By using www.easytools.my, creating an account, or purchasing any product or service from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. In these terms “we” and “EasyTools.my” refer to the operator of this website, and “you” refers to the person or business using it.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering — we use your email address to deliver licence keys, invoices and download links, and we cannot deliver them to an address you do not control.
3. Free tools
Our free online tools are provided as-is for lawful use. We may change, limit or withdraw any free tool at any time. Free tools carry no uptime guarantee and no support commitment.
4. Products and pricing
All prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are listed on the relevant product page and at checkout. Prices may change at any time; the price shown at the moment you submit your order is the price that applies to that order. Unless a product is explicitly described as lifetime or one-time, software licences are supplied on a one-year term.
5. Software licences
When you purchase a premium software product we issue you a licence key. The following apply:
- The key is issued to you for your own use or your own clients’ sites, and may not be resold, published, shared publicly or distributed as part of another product.
- Your installation validates the key against our licence server periodically, roughly every 12 hours. Your site needs outbound internet access for this check.
- A one-year licence entitles you to premium features and updates for twelve months from the date of issue.
- We may deactivate a licence key if the payment behind it is reversed, unpaid, or supported by a receipt that proves to be invalid or falsified, or where the key is being distributed in breach of these terms.
- Keep your key confidential. We are not responsible for premium access consumed through a key you have shared.
6. EasyTools Site Migrator
Site Migrator creates backups of your WordPress site and restores them to a destination site. Read this section carefully, because restores are destructive by design.
- The free tier supports sites up to 3 GB of exported content and a 30-day trial period. Premium removes the size limit and trial expiry.
- A restore replaces the destination website’s database and files. You are responsible for choosing the correct destination and for having your own independent backup before you begin.
- We strongly recommend performing any first migration onto a staging or new WordPress installation rather than a live production site.
- The plugin runs on your own hosting. Success depends on your server’s PHP limits, execution time, disk space and stability, which are outside our control.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, downtime or damage arising from a backup or restore. Our maximum liability is limited as set out in section 12.
7. Payment and verification
We accept manual transfers through Malaysian payment methods including DuitNow, Touch ‘n Go and FPX. You select your product, make the transfer, and upload your payment receipt.
For software licences, your key is issued immediately when you submit your receipt so that you are not kept waiting. This is a convenience, not a waiver of verification. We review receipts afterwards, and we reserve the right to deactivate any licence issued against a receipt that is invalid, altered, duplicated or does not correspond to a payment actually received. Submitting a falsified receipt is fraud and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
8. Refunds
Software licences carry a 14-day refund period from the date of purchase. To request a refund, contact us within that window and tell us what went wrong. Refunds are made to the account the payment came from.
Refunds are not available where the licence has been shared or distributed in breach of section 5, where the request is made after the 14-day window, or for website design and custom software services once work has commenced. When a refund is issued, the associated licence key is deactivated.
9. Website design and custom software services
Design and custom development are delivered as services, not instant downloads. Scope, timeline and deliverables are agreed with you directly after your order. Indicative timelines shown on the website are estimates and depend on you supplying content, logos and feedback promptly. Any domain or hosting included with a package is provided for the stated period, after which normal renewal charges apply.
10. Acceptable use
You may not use our tools or services to create, distribute or link to unlawful, fraudulent, malicious or infringing material; to generate QR codes that lead to malware, phishing or deceptive destinations; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; or to circumvent licensing, usage limits or payment. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
11. Intellectual property
The EasyTools.my website, its plugins, themes and tools remain our intellectual property. Purchasing a licence grants you a right to use the software, not ownership of it. Content you create using our tools — your QR codes, your files, your website — remains yours.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
14. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to orders already placed.
